Really an excellent experience. A simple menu but really well done. Service was attentive and personable. Only thing different would be nice to have a candle on the table. Highly recommend for an overall excellent experience of food and going for a walk around the river.

Such amazing atmosphere and great food! Had the soup to start and it was delicious 3 Great staff and a great date night spot :) Had the salmon and pork schnitzel and they were both delicious, great quality food. And good wine selection to top it off:p

What a perfect place to relax after skating on the river! The ambiance is amazing and the food is even better! There is a great Happy Hour here between 3 and 5PM. There are great deals on wine and beer as well as some great appetizers. We had the Swedish Meatballs and the Bread and Veggie Dips. Both were fantastic! The grilled bread that came with both were the perfect compliment to the sauces and dips that were served. The Pumpkin Dip was a more flavourful version of Hummus and the Mushroom dip was almost like a patey. The kids enjoyed their Fish and Chips and everyone went home happy and relaxed. The atmosphere lends itself well to having great conversation and the server was very attentive and proactive. We never had to search for her. In fact, with all of the people skating and milling around on New Year's Day, I don't understand why this place wasn't absolutely packed! I think it must be a signage issue because I had trouble distinguishing it from the little coffee shop next door. I look forward to coming back. Perhaps next time try the Brunch?

This place is fantastic!! My mom has been here a few times and finally took me out for lunch on a Sunday. This place offers brunch, but opens at 11:30am. I wasn't super hungry, so I went for the salmon cakes and my mom had the winter salad. Both dishes were so delicious!! I cannot believe how the kale was lightly cooked with the salmon cakes, it tasted so good. I also had the apple cider mimosa which was extra special as it was a beautiful drink with a sugared rim. The service was amazing of course and the atmosphere is so beautiful and its a smaller restaurant which makes it nice when taking a guest with you.. I heard it's a lot prettier at night with the lighting inside. I was informed the menu changes by the season so a new one should be out soon for spring and I can't wait to see what's new.

My husband and I cycled to Bowness Park for our anniversary lunch. It was a beautiful day and as always the park provided a lovely oasis. We sat on the deck overlooking the lagoon at Seasons of Bowness Park. We enjoyed a couple of Moscow Mules before our meal. I had the Pecan Beet salad with tofu which was delicious and my husband had the Hungarian soup and a delicious flatbread. Our server was very attentive. We've enjoyed this restaurant in all of Calgary's seasons and highly recommend it.

Food was really good! We got the tuna tartare for appetizer, pasta with salmon, and steak. The steak was tender and flavourful and pasta was very satisfying Was a bit on the pricier end though. 30 something per person.

A not so hidden gem in the Bowness park. It is one of the most beautiful restaurant by the lake in Calgary. We visited there during July long weekend and sat on the patio. The view from the patio is second to none. They serve brunch menu on Sunday, it has a fair bit of breakfast and lunch menu items there. We ordered baked omelettes, seafood pot, fish and chips and avocado toast. Every item was delicious and prepared with care. Portions were not huge but enough for 1 person. We had some cocktails and beers as well, everything was well worth it. I would definitely visit Seasons of Bowness Park" again.
